The Closer for GM Homes schedules
all closings. GM Homes will contact all buyers, Realtors
and lending institutions with the date and time of your
closing. If you are working with a lender, contact your
loan officers to get the total dollar amount you need
to bring to closing
A copy of the hazard insurance for your home will
be provided by GM Homes at closing.

At your closing you will need to bring
the following items:
- A cashier's check or certified funds.
This check must be made out to yourself - it will
be signed over to the title company at closing. In
the event the closing is delayed, your funds will
still be available to you.
- Driver's License or picture ID.
- 2 month's Association dues. This
amount IS NOT dues paid in advance. Each development
requires the amount equal to 2 month's dues to be
paid by everyone who purchases a home. This amount
is the capital contribution to the Association. It
allows the Association to perform its maintenance
duties as the development is being built.
- Prorated dues from the day of closing through
the end of the month. GM Homes will advise
you the amount of your prorated dues before closing.
*** Please note: The prorated
dues and the 2-month's dues amounts WILL be part of
your closing costs. Please check with your lender
to be sure they are aware of these amounts.
